Hand surgery is a sub-specialty of plastic surgery.  All plastic surgeons and orthopedic surgeons receive hand surgery training, but a select few decide to make hand surgery a focus area in their practice.  Dr. Momeni had the privilege of training at Yale University under top New York metro area hand surgeons, and provides the following specialized hand surgery services:

• Carpal tunnel surgery (specialist in endoscopic release)
• Trigger fingers
• Arthritis of the fingers and the thumb base joint
• Tennis elbow
• Ganglion cysts (including mucous cysts)
• Dupuytren's contractures (Xiaflex, needle aponeurotomy, fasciectomy)
• Nerve and tendon injuries
• Mallet finger
• Dislocation of the finger and hand joints
• Fractures (broken bones) in the hand and fingers (not wrist)
• Wrist tendinitis (including deQuorvain's)
