Skin Cancer & Melanoma Treatment in New Jersey

Dr. Momeni works closely with a number of area dermatologists to treat basal cell cancer, squamous cell cancer, and malignant melanoma.  In many cases, the treatment involves Mohs surgery by a trained dermatologist followed by reconstructive surgery by Dr. Momeni to fix the wound after removal of the skin cancer by the Mohs surgeon.  The skin lesions we treat include:

• Spitz nevus & dysplastic nevus
• Basal cell cancer
• Squamous cell cancer
• Malignant melanoma (including sentinel lymph node biopsy)
• Plastic surgical repair of Mohs wounds (with flaps & grafts)

Treatment of malignant melanoma is highly protocolized, and Dr. Momeni works with a team of area dermatologists, pathologists, radiologists, and medical oncologists to deliver the highest level of care to our patients with these cancers.
